Stamping! And cats! And purple! Oh my!
I buy a lot of polish and associated things from the Facebook group UK Only Polish & Beauty Swaps and Sales. I picked up a load of packets of fimo slices and I’ve been itching to use them for ages. For the yellow nail prompt I borrowed an idea for cocktail nails that I really, really liked from Glowstars last year and came up with these – glasses of fizzy lemonade!
So in amongst working on the 31 Day Challenge for this year (I realise everyone else did this in September, but life has a way of not giving me a break and I’m still doing it!) I’ve been reorganising my picture folders. It turns out I have a lot of really cool designs I never got around to posting. I’m not in the habit of wasting work so I’ll be sharing them with you anyway! Here is one from last year’s 31 Day Challenge that never made it as far as the blog. The theme was Half Moons.
I’m on a bit of a stamping kick lately. I’ve bought so many stamping plates over the last several months that I’m not sure how I’ll ever get through them all! One brand I’d never tried before until recently is Born Pretty Store. Their prices are crazy cheap and I was a bit iffy about whether the quality of their plates would be any good. Well this just in: they’re FAB.
It’s Halloween today! Are you ready?! Don’t worry if your nails are still bare, I’ve got TWO really quick ideas for you today!
As I mentioned yesterday, I don’t do Halloween, but I’m going to a gig tonight and it seemed the perfect excuse to adorn my nubbins with something a bit different. As I’ve been watching Dexter for the last several months (just started Season 5, no spoilers!) I really wanted to try out blood spatter!
