Traditionally the 31 Day Challenge happens in September – this is when everyone else did it. I too did it, after a fashion. I more or less kept up with the actual nail designing from day to day – I just didn’t manage to post any blogs on the subject. I’ve done too much lovely work to hide it all away though, so as of today I’m having my only little 31DC2015. I hope you don’t mind!

It’s still Day 13 somewhere, right? I’ve been out this evening and only just got home!
Without further ado, I present for your delight and enjoyment: BUNNIES!!1!!
If you’re anything like me, you may find Monday makes you a bit blue. I’m totally pooped today from a busy weekend and I’m not quite sure what I’m doing with myself yet. Thankfully I have the Life in Lacquer Nail Art Challenge prompt for today to give me something to post about without needing to think too much!
I’m not totally clear on whether this prompt means the polish that you spent the most money on, or the polish with the most expensive retail price. I don’t tend to pay a great deal of attention to retail prices, other than to not buy anything that costs over £5, as a rule. Polishes like the Illamasqua one I showed last week (£14.50), or Nails Inc which cost £12 just seem overpriced to me. As a result, I’m amazing at spotting when something is reduced, and I jump on special offers. I keep a spreadsheet of details about my polishes, including how much I paid for them, and somehow the most money I have spent on a single bottle of polish is a mere £6.85. (And even that wasn’t full price!) Hello to Ohana by Tara’s Talons.
If you’ve seen any of my posts from the challenge so far you’ll know that I’ve mostly posted Indies so far. Finding another Indie for today’s prompt was not difficult. But I was determined to use something a bit different. So I have another Nelly Polish for you today and a brand that has never been posted on this blog before: WRK Nails.
I’m quite partial to Jelly polishes. I really love that squishy, yummy looking finish. That being said, I don’t own very many – it seems they’re generally only made by Indie brands and I can never find them or they’re hideously expensive! So I was pleasantly surprised when this one dropped through my door in a Tara’s Talons Treasure Trove box in January. This is Feeling Festive:
