I’ve had this slightly ridiculous design in my To-Post pile for months and months and I don’t know what’s taken me so long. Without further ado, I bring you SHEEP.

As per a usual Gig nails post there are LOTS of pictures in this post!
At the start of March I had three gigs lined up for April. One was sadly cancelled, another fell through because of a change of management at the venue and shortly after I finished designing these funky nails the final one was cancelled because our drummer fell ill. What are you supposed to do? So I wore these nails out the following day to meet my partner at the cinema and then cut them down short and wore them for a few more days after that. What do you think?
I’m quite partial to Jelly polishes. I really love that squishy, yummy looking finish. That being said, I don’t own very many – it seems they’re generally only made by Indie brands and I can never find them or they’re hideously expensive! So I was pleasantly surprised when this one dropped through my door in a Tara’s Talons Treasure Trove box in January. This is Feeling Festive:
Third prompt of the challenge, and another two indies to tick off my list. Today it is the turn of Tara’s Talons. I own 18 polishes by this lovely lady and yet few ever make it to the blog. This is ALL about to change. If you follow Tara you’ll have seen this design already – I sneakily entered it into her Birthday competition last week. (Which I didn’t win. *sadface*)
Another prompt, another perhaps unoriginal but whole new to me design. I love an excuse to do something new with caviar – follow the tag to see some of my other hair-brained ideas. When I was trying to come up with a sweet-inspired nail art design my first thought was liquorice allsorts! My favourite ones are the jelly ones covered in little beads of sugar. A nail art match made in heaven!
Excuse me while I go all old-school on this prompt. I had this camo green from Claire’s Accessories and doing a traditional camouflage design with it has been on my to-do list ever since.
I confess, I had to look this one up. It’s so long since I had to remember the difference between Primary, Secondary and whatever other colours that I wasn’t sure whether Primary was *just* red, blue and yellow, or whether or not green etc counted. They don’t, by the way. Primary colours are Red, Yellow and Blue.
Having catalogued my collection, I noticed that I often stick to the same set of colours most of the time. As part of this challenge I intend to use as many polishes as I can. Today I got in two untrieds. Yay!
