Quickie post! I found a great design by Lucy’s Stash and I thought I’d use some nail art pens I was given for my birthday to try and recreate it.

I’ve been looking forward to this challenge. For real, I’ve been thinking about what to do with this for weeks. How often do you pull out lots and lots of different polishes and just throw them all together in one random design? I almost can’t believe I’ve never done it before. This is one heck of a Kitchen Sink design!
There are a few polishes I could have picked for this prompt – how often do you spend AGES looking for a polish, or looking at a specific polish, and then sit around at home drumming your fingers because you can’t wait for it to arrive, only to then not use it? This is what has happened with this particular polish: Mosaic by W7.
I added a new header – what do you think? I don’t want too much of a redesign on this blog because I like it how it is but it needs a little bit of sprucing up!
Following on from the huge success of Nail-Art-A-Go-Go (for some, at least – I didn’t make it!), Gnarly Gnails and The Glittah Pirates are embarking on a new challenge – The Neverending Pile. This is the challenge I have been waiting for to get through my untrieds. Since I started this blog in September 2013 my collection has increased by probably at least 10 polishes a month and not all of them make it to post. So now they will.
Today I’ve got glitter. Loads of glitter. So much glitter that these two polishes have sat, unloved, in my stash because I’m not quite sure what to do with them.
There are probably more original things I could do with the prompt Night Sky, but I really wanted to do galaxy nails!
I don’t know about you, but Still Life conjures up images of fruit, and er… that’s about it. So I was grateful when someone suggested I check out the Wikipedia article for Still Life, and that’s where I found out it actually covers loads of things that don’t move.
I hail from the South West of England, in the United Kingdom. From Devon, to be precise. Did you know that Devon has a flag? It’s named after St Petroc, who (according to Wikipedia) was a prince notable for ministering in Devon and Cornwall. Here’s a fun fact – the flag was adopted following a competition in 2003 and gained official recognition from Devon County Council in 2006. The colours are quite well known in Devon – I study at the University of Exeter and the sports teams all wear these colours. Anyway, lesson over! Here are my nails:
