Oh boy, editing orange photographs is horrible. I swear it has taken me longer to edit these pictures than it took me to actually paint the design. Ugh. I’m glad today is over!

Faster Than A Speeding Bullet
Just a quick post from me tonight – I’ve had a chance to edit and watermark a lot of photos this afternoon and some of these manicures have been sitting in my edit pile, sorry and unloved for a very long time! I originally did these nails for the Texture day of The Neverending Pile Challenge, which was waaay back on 12th May. I sure missed that boat!
The Neverending Pile Challenge: A Random Untried
Third prompt of the challenge, and another two indies to tick off my list. Today it is the turn of Tara’s Talons. I own 18 polishes by this lovely lady and yet few ever make it to the blog. This is ALL about to change. If you follow Tara you’ll have seen this design already – I sneakily entered it into her Birthday competition last week. (Which I didn’t win. *sadface*)
31 Day Challenge Day 13: Animal Print – Butterflies
I didn’t want to do anything obvious for animal print, given how many leopard and zebra print nails are out there. I’ve never done those nails before but I didn’t want to do them today. I scoured the internet for frogs, and then frog manicures started popping up everywhere… so I settled for this gorgeous butterfly design. Seche Vite is MAGIC – I applied it when I finished the design, and half an hour later it was hard as rocks. Didn’t smudge at all. I am in awe. And it’s so glossy and shiny!
31 Day Challenge Day 2: Orange – Slices and Shine
I wanted to do something a bit more adventurous than yesterday so I scoured Pinterest for orange ideas. I found a really cool manicure on Pinterest and I dutifully copied it but for some reason, mine doesn’t look as effective. But you can tell they’re supposed to be slices of orange, right?
