Bargain Alert: Born Pretty Store Discount Decals

Bargain Alert: Born Pretty Store Discount Decals

Of all the online retailers of awesome nail art stuff, one that I see very, very often is Born Pretty Store. They have just about everything you could possibly think of and more and it all seems to be really good value for money. I’d never bought anything until I found about this discount decal sale – I’ve seen some fabulous water decals around the web and I’ve finally ordered some to try for myself. I’ll be sure to let you know what they’re like!

I’ve also ordered some really pretty multi-coloured studs. I’ve seen multiple manicures featuring these cute little things (like this one from POW!) and I caved and decided I needed some in my own life. What’s your weakness when you see a bargain?

Born Pretty Store have offered me a discount code of my own – be sure to enter RTMX31 to your next order to get 10% off!

This month has flown by. My one and only gig this month was at the Coach House in Paignton on January 4th. It seems only yesterday but was weeks ago now! Here are my nails:

Manicure Monday: Share the Love

#sharethelove is a hashtag you might have seen around lately. As a result of Gnarly Gnails Sharing Ladder a few weeks ago my Facebook page has shot up from 11 likes to 386! I’ve seen some great new nail art blogs around lately as a result of this sharing meme. I’ve just seen Cult Nails post sharing some manicures that she really likes so I thought I’d do the same – you probably haven’t heard of these blogs but you should check them out, they’re SO good.

Long Time No See

Hi! It has been over 10 days since I posted – this makes me sad! I’ve been really busy painting awesome new designs, but I haven’t had any time to photograph them… I intend to fix that this week – next month I’m taking part in Gnarly Gnails Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge! I’ve got lots of exciting ideas for the prompts and it’s really fun to be doing a big project again!

To tide you over, I’ve got one more design in my To-Post folder.

Swatched: Tara’s Talons Treasure Trove

Swatched: Tara’s Talons Treasure Trove

Way back in October last year, I subscribed to Tara’s Talons Treasure Trove, a £20 subscription box of Tara’s Talons polishes and other goodies. These beauties have been sat in my pile waiting to be swatched since they arrived in November. I get the box every two months and I’ve got this months box now waiting to be swatched as well! Hopefully it won’t be another two months before I get around to those though…

I love surprise polish boxes – you never know quite what you’re going to get….

My New Favourite Blue

My New Favourite Blue

Just before Christmas I became the proud owner of my very first Essie polish. The amazing Racho’s Nail Love posted this manicure featuring Butler Please and I was in love. She paid just £1.99 for it and I asked if she could find me one. She didn’t find one, but offered to send me hers as swap for the silver Glamour polish I picked up for her. So generous! Wow, wow, wow. This is the most perfect blue EVER.

Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery: Chelsea Queen

It has been much too long since I posted last. Happy New Year!

To make up for my absence, here are TWO manicures! These are both recreations of Chelsea Queen designs I found on Pinterest. The observant among you may have noticed I posted this first one for Grazia’s Manicure Monday earlier this week. I love both of these designs for their big impact even though they’re pretty simple!
